In Spear’s series celebrating the best in law, property, wealth management, tax, lifestyle, and more, I was honored to be featured as the founder and CEO of Defuse®.
Having recently shared my insights in a Sky News interview, I reflected on my journey since retiring from the police in 2019. My role there involved leading the protection of MPs after the tragic death of Jo Cox, a responsibility that deeply influenced my decision to establish Defuse. My goal was to protect high-profile individuals and corporations from physical, reputational, and psychological harm.
At Defuse, we combine protective intelligence, behavioral science, and rigorous data analysis to craft tailored security solutions that keep our clients safe and alleviate the stress caused by threats and intimidation. Every client receives a bespoke package designed to meet their specific needs.
Our team includes experts recruited from GCHQ and police protection units. I’m humbled by the recognition from Baroness Sharmishta Chakrabarti, who described me as an “expert in threats to public and high-profile figures, offering practical solutions to manage risk.”
